Description
The Grange is an 18th-century house with an early 19th-century cross wing at the north end. It features rendered walls and a combination of tile and slate roofing. The symmetrical front, facing west, has two storeys and three windows, while the taller projecting north side has two storeys and two upper windows. The tile roof over the 18th-century section has a partial catslide at the rear and is hipped and half-hipped above the rear extensions. The 19th-century part has a low-pitched hipped slate roof. The plain walls are accented by pilasters on either side of the north wing, with stone cills and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with three lights on either side of the former entrances, which are now filled in. A plain arched doorway is located in the south gable, featuring a radiating fanlight and a late 19th-century panelled door.
