Description

Folly Cottage is a house built in the late 18th century, with some mid-19th century details. It has rendered walls and a tiled roof. The building is positioned at right angles to the road, with the front facing south. It features two storeys and three windows. The hipped roof includes a catslide at the rear, and there is a large stepped chimney stack on the west end. The walls are plain, and the windows are Victorian sashes, with three lights in the middle of the first floor and two ground floor splayed bays also with sashes. The doorway is plain and has a canopy supported by carved brackets, leading to a late 19th century four-panelled door.
