Description

This 18th-century cottage is located on Chalkcroft Lane, Penton Mewsey. It is a symmetrical two-storey, two-window building with a hipped roof, half-hipped at the rear. The walls are rendered over a brick plinth above a flint base. The rear gable displays an exposed timber frame above a flint wall. Windows are 20th-century casements, with bowed ground floor windows. A 20th-century boarded door is set within a plain opening and sheltered by a thatched hood on posts.
