7/3 Barn at Burntwood Farm 50 m. N of House.

Barn. C17 and C18. Timber-frame mainly encased in brick and flint walling, but part weatherboarded, roof has tiled front, and asbestos sheets on rear face. 2 5-bay barns, of C17 and C18, with C17 barn to right. Each barn has double doors to centre bay. Right bay has low Cl? cottage to front of it, next bay has weatherboarding. Bays between doors have flint walling and Cl9 flint outshot shed with asbestos roof in front. Left bay has early C19 stable block in front of it and next bay is of brick. Roof hipped. Inside, C17 barn is aisled with queen post roof and curved braces to aisle plate and ties and some windbraces. C18 barn has queen strut roof with straight braces.
