Description
Bull Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century, with later additions from the late 18th century and early 19th century. It features a timber frame that is encased in brick and has an old plain tile roof. The building has three bays and a smoke bay, with an additional bay added to the right.
The front of the farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of five bays. The doorway is approximately central and has a planked door set in a solid frame, with a baffle entry beneath a 19th-century open, gabled timber porch. To the left of the doorway, there are two three-light casements with Dutch arches, while to the right, there are French windows with a Dutch arch and a two-light casement with a camber head. A string course runs along the first floor. Above, there are two two-light casements, with two 19th-century three-light casements to the left and two 19th-century tripartite sashes to the right. The roof is hipped and features a large central stack, along with a projecting stack at the left end.
