Description

The Old School House is a small house dating from the late 18th century, with an extension added in a similar style in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of knapped flint with brick dressings and has a slate roof. The building features a two-storey, two-bay by three-bay layout, with a matching one-bay by three-bay block added to the right, which has its entrance on the side. The front of the house has three 12-pane segmental-headed sash windows on the ground floor and three 2-light leaded segmental-headed casements above. The 19th-century hipped roof has a stack at each end of the hip and a large stack behind the original 18th-century part of the building.
