Description
The war memorial in Martyr Worthy is an early 20th-century structure made of Purbeck stone. It features a square plinth that consists of three unequal steps leading up to a cube-shaped plinth adorned with inscriptions. Atop this is a square-section cross, which has cable-moulded corners and scabbled faces. The design includes a Norman cross with ridge moulding at the top, and the inscriptions are crafted in Arts & Crafts style lettering.
