Description
Green Meadows is a cottage dating from the 17th century and late 18th century. It has a timber-frame core that is encased in brick, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of three bays, with a fourth bay added to the right and a 20th-century flat-roofed single-storey extension beyond. The doorway is located to the right of the centre, just left of the stack, with a small light beside it on the right. The other bays feature 19th-century two-light casements. The cottage has a 19th-century planked door set within a 20th-century gabled open timber porch. Eyebrow dormers are present on the other elevations of the hipped roof. There are ridge stacks positioned just to the right of the door and at the left end of the original building.
