Description

Dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, 2 and 3 St Peter Street are a pair of two-storey buildings. They are constructed of red brick with a small dentil cornice and parapet. Number 2 has one window and a small, open, pedimented door with a semicircular fanlight. Number 3 has three windows and a small door featuring a semicircular fanlight and a wavy pediment. Both pediments are moulded and have small dentils. The buildings have sash windows with glazing bars, and flush-panelled doors. The roofs are not visible. Numbers 2 to 9 (consec), the Royal Hotel, a garden wall and numbers 22 and 23 form a group.
