Description
No. 23 on St Peter Street is a building from 1833, located on the east side of the street. It is a two-storey structure with a symmetrical design, constructed of painted brick and featuring a stone string course above each floor. The facade includes two two-storey angular bays with three windows each, a central window, and a central door. The windows are sash style, equipped with glazing bars, and have rubbed heads and keystones. The entrance features a panelled door with two glazed panels and is framed by a wide wooden surround that includes two sidelights. Above the door, there is a moulded pediment supported by console brackets. This building is part of a group that includes The Royal Hotel, the garden wall, and Nos 2 to 9 (consecutive), as well as Nos 22 and 23.
