Description

No. 5 St Peter Street, dated 1881, is built in the Tudor Gothic style. The building is constructed of red brick with stone banding and dressings. It is two storeys high with a three-window facade. The windows are three-light casements with mullions and transoms. The central doorway is Tudor in style, featuring a four-centred arch with carved spandrels, and a smaller window above. Two gables project to the street. The roof is covered with old tiles. The building forms a group with Nos. 2 to 9 (consecutive), the Royal Hotel, a garden wall, and Nos. 22 and 23.
