Description

38 and 39 Jewry Street are early 19th-century buildings dating from 1833. They stand three storeys tall with stucco walls and a rusticated ground floor. The ground floor features two doors and two arched shop windows, although the original shop window frames have lost their sash bars. Each of the upper floors has two windows and a panel. The sashes on the upper floors include glazing bars and are surrounded by architrave on the first floor. The buildings have a hipped slate roof. Nos 34 to 40 Jewry Street form a group.
