Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings on George Lane. They are constructed of painted brick with a tiled roof and an eaves cornice. The front elevation features four original sash windows with intact glazing bars. Two buildings have round-headed doorways with semi-circular tympana, with the doorway of number 3 slightly recessed. Number 2 also has two additional round-headed arches on the ground floor, one containing a window and the other blank. Numbers 1 to 3, along with The Prince of Wales Public House on Fairfield Road, form a notable group.
