Description

The Former Prince of Wales Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Fairfield Road. It is two storeys high and has a stucco exterior with a hipped slate roof. The façade features wide pilasters on either side, and there are three sash windows with intact glazing bars and keystones above the lower windows. The building has a plinth and a doorcase that is framed by an architrave surround, topped with a pediment supported by brackets. The property forms a group with Nos 1 to 3 George Lane.
