Description

Nos 86 and 88 High Street is a timber-framed building that was originally two cottages. It was refronted with red brick and grey headers in the 17th or 18th century. The building has two storeys and features a hipped tiled roof. It includes braces and four casement windows with small square leaded panes. The ground floor windows and the two doorcases have cambered head linings. At each end of the building, there are single-storey weatherboarded extensions with pentice roofs.
