Description

This is an early 19th-century building, originally timber-framed, situated on the north-west side of High Street. The front is now faced with white brick, while the side elevation features a pebbledashed ground floor and tile hanging above. The roof is tiled, with a parapet. The building has three sash windows facing south-east and three sash windows facing south-west, all lacking their original glazing bars. A doorcase features pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panel door, with a lunette window above it on the first floor. It forms a group with numbers 38 and 40, St John's Priory, and number 48.
