Description
The New Inn is a timber-framed building that was refronted in the 18th century. It has two storeys and features a painted brick facade, a tiled roof, and a parapet. The building includes seven sash windows with architraves, although the glazing bars are missing. There are two doorcases; one has a flat hood supported by iron brackets and an eight-panel fielded door, while the other doorcase has been altered in modern times. Inside, there is a panelled interior. A passage runs through the building at its northeast end, revealing visible timber-framing in the west wall. The New Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 27 to 43 (odd).
