Description

No 48 High Street is part of a building that includes No 46. It dates from the 18th century and has been restored. The structure is two storeys high and features a pebbledashed exterior. It has three sash windows with restored glazing bars, two modern bow front windows, and a doorcase that includes a flat cornice and reeded pilasters. No 48, along with Nos 38 and 40 St John's Priory and Nos 46 and 48, forms a group.
