Description

Fairfield House is an 18th-century or earlier building. It is constructed of stone rubble with flint galleting, some areas patched with brick, and has red brick window dressings. The roof is tiled, with a half-nipped gable on the southwest end and one dormer window. It features an eaves cornice and a stringcourse. Originally displaying two windows, a two-window bay was added to the northeast end in the early 19th century, retaining most of its original glazing bars. There are two small bay windows on the ground floor. The front door is set within a doorcase featuring a moulded architrave surround, a cambered head lining, and a door consisting of five moulded panels.
