Description

This is a barn located 10 meters southwest of Broadgate Farm House, dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded on a brick plinth, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of four bays and has a 19th-century garage made of flint and brick at the left end, along with lean-to sheds along the rear. The second bay from the left is open, and there is a door in the right bay with a window above it. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, the barn has a queen post roof with cambered ties, large braces to the ties, small braces to the wallplate, and windbraces in the entrance bay.
