Description

This is a barn dating from the late 17th century, located approximately 35 metres south-west of White's Farmhouse. It features weatherboarding over a light timber frame, resting on a late 17th century brick plinth laid in Flemish bond with flared headers. The roof is made of corrugated iron and has a half-hipped design. The barn has a three-bay plan and includes 20th century doors and windows. Inside, there is a mid-20th century cowhouse on the ground floor with an inserted loft floor. The structure includes a jowled post that is braced to the tie-beam and wall-plate, a collar-truss with side struts, and clasped and butt purlins that are windbraced.
