Description

The Village Hall, originally a school built around 1860, is constructed of English bond red brick with purple brick bands and features a gabled old tile roof with a brick lateral stack at the rear. It is a single-storey building with a two-window range. The windows are 2-light casements with segmental brick arches above them, and there is a central offset buttress. To the left, there is a tall 3-light window with a pointed tympanum arch, and to the right, a bellcote sits above another pointed-arched 3-light casement. The porch on the right has a hipped roof and contains plank double doors. Inside, there is a stone fireplace with a chamfered surround.
