Description
Church End is a house that dates back to the 17th century on the right side, with remodels from the late 18th to early 19th century. The front features random bond brickwork over a timber frame, with square framing visible on the right gable and rear walls. It has a thatched roof and brick stacks. Originally designed as a two-unit plan, it was extended by two additional units to the left during the late 18th to early 19th century. The building is one and a half stories tall and has a six-window range. There is a late 20th-century porch on the right. The left side has four closely spaced 20th-century casement windows beneath segmental arches, while the right side has two 20th-century casements. The first floor features 20th-century casements, and there is a single 18th-century one-light leaded casement on the rear right. The roof is both hipped and gabled, with a central 17th-century ridge stack and end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. There is a 20th-century tiled outshut on the rear right, along with a one and a half-story wing and a front left extension.
