Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th century, largely encased in the 18th century. It is a timber-frame structure with brick infill to the ends and part of the front, while the remainder is encased in painted brick. The roof is thatched at the front and tiled at the rear. The cottage has three bays and is one-and-a-half storeys high. A boarded door is located in a plain frame in the centre, with an adjoining frame, formerly a door, now a window. There are three casement windows, those at each end set beneath cambered arches. Above the main bays are two eyebrow dormers. The roof is half-hipped.
