Description

These are two joined cottages, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, with later 20th-century alterations. The timber frame is exposed on part of the upper wall, while the remainder is encased in English bond brickwork, which is painted. The roof is mainly thatched, with some slate sections. The cottages are one-and-a-half storeys high and have a two-bay outshot at one end. There are 20th-century brick porches. The windows are casements; three are in one bay, and one in the other. Each bay has an eyebrow dormer window above it. One end of the roof is half-hipped, and the other is hipped with a lower slate roof. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
