Description
No. 8 Church Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic, featuring a much lower elevation than No. 6. The exterior is roughcast, and it has a moulded bracketed eaves cornice along with a modern tile roof that includes a central dormer. On the first floor, there is a double central sash window with glazing bars, framed by an architrave. The ground floor showcases an early 19th-century shop front with panelled pilasters, a central door that has small glazed panes in the upper part, and a simple entablature with a bracketed cornice above the doorway and windows. To the left, there is a narrow door with small glazed panes in the upper part. Nos. 2 to 8 form a group.
