Description

No. 6 West Street is an 18th-century building featuring roughcast exterior, with the ground floor finished in painted brick. It has a tiled hipped roof and a moulded eaves soffit. The building stands three storeys tall and is one window wide. The first-floor window is a sash with glazing bars set in a moulded case, while the second-floor window is a later sash without glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern top-opening light window and a modern glazed door to the left, which is topped with a hood. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 4, 6, and 7, although No. 4 is of local interest only.
