Description

Number 11 on Market Place is an early 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands three storeys tall with an attic, constructed of painted brick and featuring a moulded brick cornice. The attic has a parapet with moulded capping and two small blocked window openings. The upper floors have two sash windows with architrave frames, and the first floor lacks glazing bars. The original 19th-century shop windows with arched lights and a central door have been replaced by a 20th-century plate-glass shop front. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in Corn Market and Market Place.
