Description

15 Market Place is an 18th-century building with a core that has been recently extensively rebuilt in a replica style. It is of a similar height to number 14, but with a lower roof ridge. The building is three storeys high and constructed of brick, featuring a moulded string course on the second floor. It has a modern tile roof. Three narrow, segmental-headed sash windows with architrave frames are present on the upper floors. The original shop windows and an early 19th-century door have been replaced by a 20th-century plate-glass shop window, a doorway, and a fascia. The listed buildings in Corn Market and Market Place form a group.
