Description
This is a barn located 20 meters south of Pucknalls Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century with a 19th-century addition. The barn is constructed with a timber frame, weatherboarded on a brick plinth, and features a slate roof. It consists of six bays, with two additional 19th-century bays made of brick added to the left side, and a 19th-century range in front of the two right bays. The barn has double doors in the left center bay and a three-light casement window in the right bay. The 19th-century bays include steps leading up to a loft, double doors, and a window. The roof is hipped. Inside, the roof features tall queen posts, curved braces to the tie beams, struts to the lower braces, and wind braces.
