Description
Pucknall Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 18th century encasement and 20th century alterations. It features a timber frame that is encased in brick, which has been painted, and has an old plain tile roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays, with a crosswing at the far bay that faces the road. The garden front includes an outshot in the centre bay, which has a door at the road end and a three-light casement window set beneath a hipped dormer. There is also a three-light casement window in the road end bay and a similar window in the projecting crosswing, which has a two-light casement window above in the tiled gable. The roof of the crosswing is half-hipped. There is a large stack over the centre bay and an additional stack at the road end.
