Description
Pucknalls Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a 16th-century core that was rebuilt in the 18th century and remodeled in the 19th century. It features a timber-frame core, brick with blue header decorations, and an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay double pile layout. The front of the farmhouse has a central 20th-century glazed door set within a 19th-century open-fronted timber and glass gabled porch. Each side of the door has a tripartite sash window with segmental heads. Above the door, there is a four-pane sash window, with tripartite sashes on each side. Between each bay and near the ends, there are blue header pilasters, and below the windows, blue header aprons are present. The eaves are moulded timber. The gables were rebuilt in the 19th century and feature moulded brick kneelers, gable walls, and stacks with large rectangular bases topped with two or three diamond or round shafts.
