Description
This is a 17th-century barn located 20 meters southeast of Little Bentley Farmhouse. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded, standing on a brick plinth with brick gables, and has an old plain tile roof. The barn consists of seven bays and includes an aisled design with a central hipped midstray porch that has double doors. The walls are low and contain some stable doors, while the roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is a queen-post roof with posts resting on baseplates, and braces connecting the posts to the junction of the wall studs and baseplate. There are also straight braces to the tiebeams and aisle-plates, along with straight windbraces.
