Description
Little Bentley Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with some brick and flint additions, and features an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high with an attic and has a five-bay outshot at the rear. A central 20th-century flat-roofed porch, which is open at the front, leads to a four-panel door. The farmhouse has nine small 12-pane flush-frame sash windows. There is a first-floor band that is now covered by a steel tie, with a lead strip just above it. The structure is topped with a toothed cornice and has two 18th-century leaded two-light hipped dormers on the roof. There are end stacks at either side of the building.
