Description

Dairy House is a house that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and early 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill, set on a high plinth made of flint and brick, and has an old plain tile roof with some brick additions. The building is two stories high and consists of three bays, along with a smoke bay. To the right of the two main bays, there is an early 20th-century lean-to, while the smoke bay is located to the left of the center.

The entrance has a well-constructed oak door with a heavy frame and hood, accompanied by single casements in the lean-to. There is a single light window in the smoke bay, a 20th-century two-light casement, and a high-set three-pane window in the left bay. On the first floor, there are two 17th-century two-light casements, one above the other in the smoke bay, and additional two-light casements in the bays on either side. The roof is half-hipped and features a large cruciform stack over the smoke bay, with another stack located at the front of the roof over the right bay.
