Description
This is a barn located 50 meters east of Little Bentley Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century with extensions from the 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded, sitting on a brick plinth with brick lower gables and an internal wall. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and is half-hipped. The barn consists of three bays from the 17th century, with two additional bays from the 18th century added to the left side, and it has an aisle at the rear. There are double doors located in the center and to the left of the center bays. Inside, the barn has queen-post roofs supported by braces to the tiebeams and aisle/wallplates, along with straight windbraces. A full-height brick wall separates the two left bays from the rest of the barn.
