Description

This is an 18th-century barn located about 25 meters northwest of Bentley Heath Farm House. The barn features a timber frame that is weatherboarded with a brick plinth and has a tiled roof. It has a long range of seven bays, with a hip on the left side. There are window and door openings that face the farmhouse, and a gablet is present on the hip to the left. The barn has been extended at the rear. Inside, collar beams clasp purlins and queen posts are visible, along with straight braces connecting the wall posts to the straight tie beams. Some wind braces and curved braces from the wall posts to the wall plates can also be found.
