Description

This is an 18th-century barn located approximately 60 metres west of Great Bentley Hall. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn features two gabled midstreys facing east and is likely composed of eight bays, with the southern bays containing a first-floor granary. The walls are supported by through bracing, and there are arched braces and hanging knees supporting the tie beams.
