Description

Mount View is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with an early 20th-century addition. The original part is timber-framed, featuring a thatched roof along with some slate roofing, and consists of one storey and an attic. The later addition has two storeys and includes a half-hipped gable facing the roadway. The exposed frame has rendered and painted brick infill, with a cement plinth. The windows are casements. The plain doorway is located in the new section, which has upper walls made of wavy boarding, above a brick-nogged timber frame, and an exaggerated jetty at the north end.
