Description

The gatepiers to Andover Lodge, dating from around 1830, are made of stone and feature a square section with recessed panels. Each pier has a middle projecting band and recessed ornament at the angles, along with a plinth. The top of each pier is adorned with a ball finial above a wide cornice. The wrought-iron gates have diagonal and curved diagonal edges, with circles at the junctions of the main framework.
