Description
Leyswood is a house that was originally a row of three, dating back to around 1600. It features a three-bay timber frame, with later cladding and an extension added in the late 18th century. The building is constructed from flint and thatch and has one storey plus an attic, with a total of four windows above six. The roof is half-hipped, showcasing an exposed frame that is 17th century at the south end and 18th century at the north. The eaves are raised above the dormers and lowered above a 20th-century open shallow porch. The exterior includes horizontal flint panels, brick quoins, bands, cambered arches, and a plinth that indicates altered doorways. The windows are casements, and there is a plain door.
