Description

Charlton Down Farmhouse is an 18th-century house constructed of brick and thatch. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a symmetrical front (south) with three windows. The roof slopes down to a lower eaves at the rear, which has one storey and an attic with two windows. The front displays red brickwork in Flemish bond, while the other walls are also in Flemish bond but include blue headers and cambered openings. The windows are casements, and there is a half-glazed door set within a 20th-century porch.
