Description

Starlings is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a 20th-century extension added to the south side and at the rear. The building features flint and thatch construction. The symmetrical front, facing west, is two storeys high and has three windows, along with an additional 20th-century bay. The flint walls are accented with brick quoins and have a projecting band at the first floor. The ground floor features rubbed flat arches with a curved intrados pattern, and there is a high plinth. The 20th-century walling is of stretcher bond and is now painted. The windows are 20th-century casements, with one located where the former central doorway used to be. The entrance, also from the 20th century, is set back at the north end.
