Description

Nos. 8 and 9 Shepherds Cottages are a pair of cottages located in a long block, dating from the late 18th century. They feature plaster walls and a thatched roof. The cottages are one storey with an attic and have four windows. The roof is half-hipped at the west end and hipped at the east, where it extends to a lower level above an outshot. The windows are casements, and there is one small rectangular bay at the west end, topped with a hipped tile roof. The doorways are plain.
