Description
Nos. 13 and 14 Birds Green are a pair of cottages, likely built in the late 18th century. They are two storeys high and have two windows. The cottages are timber-framed and plastered, topped with a hipped thatched roof featuring an axial chimney made of 19th-century gault brick. The first-storey windows are three-light casements from the 18th century, with central opening lights added in the 19th century. The ground-floor windows are mid-19th century and have small panes. To the left, there is an entrance door with four panels, which dates from the 18th or 19th century and is topped with a simple pediment. To the right, the doorway is enclosed by a 20th-century flat-roofed porch, and the earlier panelled door has been repositioned.
