Description

The Cygnets is a cottage, likely from the 17th century, featuring one storey and attics with a two-cell plan that probably originally included a lobby entrance. The building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof that has one 19th-century eyebrow casement dormer. There is an axial chimney, with the shaft rebuilt in 19th-century red brick. The cottage has a pair of 18th-century or early 19th-century casements and a boarded and battened entrance door with a 19th-century architrave.
