Description

Peartree Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1600, featuring one storey and attics. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. The roof is half hipped and covered in thatch, with one eyebrow dormer. There is an off-centre red brick stack that has been rebuilt. The windows are 19th-century casements, each with four panes. The front door, which is off-centre, is made of plain boarding. Inside, there was originally a small open hall with an arched braced tie beam, but a floor and stack were later added.
