Description
Simpkins is a house that dates back to the 15th century and was altered in the 16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building features a gabled and jettied cross-wing that was part of a former open hall, along with an attached late 16th-century range that has a long wall jetty. The house has two storeys and includes a three-window range with modern casements. Inside, there are extensive remains of the original frame.
