Description

This is a group of seven headstones located 10 meters north-north-east of the porch of St Mary's Church in Fordingbridge. They date from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and are made of stone, with some featuring carved heads. Two of the headstones are illegible. The inscriptions include one from the late 17th century dedicated to the wife of John Hudjuner, one from 1703 for Richard Burn, one from 1707 for Rob Highnorth, an early 18th-century stone for Anny Bulton and her son, and one from 1741 for Mary Light.
