Description
This is a row of three headstones, likely dating from the late 17th century, located approximately 10 metres southwest of the west corner of the south aisle of the Church of St. Mary. The headstones are made of ironstone. The leftmost headstone features an arched inscription plaque framed by fluted pilasters and topped with a winged cherub's head, dated 1665, although the name is not visible and the left side is badly weathered. The central headstone has a plaque with an eared architrave, also topped with scrolls and draperies, and is dated 168-, with no name visible. The rightmost headstone includes a plaque with an eared architrave and similar scrolls and draperies, with a fragmentary inscription referring to Ruth Lamp.
